What do you mean by magic sugar? As far as I know there is no magic in sugar.
Normal feeding is the white (table) sugar. In some cases , other types are used. For instance, unrefined brown sugar may be fed as a wet patty or cake in tropical areas near sugar mills, where unrefined sucrose is inexpensive.
Glucose , fructose and the di / trisaccharides are under normal circumstances easily digested by the bees. Other forms of sugar are normally not used as feed, too expensive.
It is possible to add preparations in the feeding to prevent problems like nosema.
So what is magic sugar, please tel us .... Cool

Changes are if you feed this to bees , it may end up in the honey as well. My advice is not to use it !!

More so because magic sugar, being much cheaper and sweeter than cane sugar, is used by sidewalk vendors to sweeten their goods like juice, snacks, and the likes that are being sold outside schools. Kaya pla they band this in davao because it can cause cancer. Kawawa pla mga bees natin bka mgka cancer.

So its not really sugar but a sugar substitute (synthetic sweetener).
Mukhang delikado nga itong magic sugar, baka iba ang ma magic.

Every process or commercially manufactured food has magic sugar in it, under a disguise friendly name  Angry For example, I later found out that  Nestea drink (liquid and powder) has magic sugar. Most artificial sweetener use by diabetics are made of magic sugar. This chemically manufactured sugar is already banned in Europe. The western country who produce it is dumping this cancerous substance in Asia where the use of it in food manufacturing is prevalent. Sad

Hi Bochekokik,

I very much agree with you, and for that we should always look for products with "NATURE IDENTICAL . . . . . (what have you)" statement.  A company in Malabon have been contracted by various small and multinational companies to work on their respective drinks and I believe this company imports MAGIC SUGAR from China in manufacturing their products.

Baka may melamine....

Kidding aside, just heard from the news and from some of my close relatives, sugar prices has started to stabilize and may start to go down to its normal level in a few months from now. This is due to the decline of sugar prices in the worls market.

who'know is magic sugar the same as aspertame? if thats the case better put all dieet and light products out of the market use stevia and yacon as sweetener. there is many years ago a lot of  "fights" along the world about all sweetners, sugar , stevia, aspartame and for sure the last one is danger for human health but not easy to remove it out of the market, big multinationals with a army of lawyers witch can good talk protect them to secure the "big money " they make with it.white sugar is nr.2 to ban out of the market, this is a cancer feeder, best sweetners for a healthy life style are, dark sugars, stevia, yacon concertrate, fruit sugars .                               belgian bee.

As what other forumers has suggested, stay organic (NATURE IDENTICAL), and stay away from synthetic foods. It doesnt equate that once it is being commercially sold, commercially endorsed by known celebrities would mean that it is good for our health.
The govt also needs to have tougher balls to tackle those companies and the lawyers who work for thm. Lawyers of giant companies are there to defend the product that is taking care of their payslips, not the welfare of the people. Lawyers can be good if they work for you, but can be a total prick if they are working against you. The only sad thing is that the govt sometimes accept that our country can be dumping grounds for those synthetic foods.

The only synthetic that I use is the synthetic oil for my bike, thats just it. For food, we always try to go back to the basics, stay organic stay nature identical
Bottomline, its all about the profit. If people are educated not to buy those products, they will soon be bankrupt. So spread the word.

Dati akong nag work din with a start up company na may contract sa isang company na gumagawa ng mga flavorings - yun pong company na nagsusuply ng mga flavors ay nasa Malabon.

Pinag uusapan namin dati kung papaano namin mai-prepresent yung product namin na ang magiging dating ay natural (kahit na hindi "totally" natural) sabi nung representative nung company wala silang mai-recommend na mailagay maliban sa ipakilala yung mga drinks as "NATURE IDENTICAL" (saying it the subtle way na ang kanilang products ay hindi talaga natural).  Ganun lang daw inilalagay nung iba pang mga companies (some are well known) na may contrata din sa kanila

Gusto ko lang pong linawin na ang mga produkto na may naka lagay na "NATURE IDENTICAL" ay hindi po talagang natural, bagkus synthesize po ang mga flavors nila from some other "not so" natural flavors - LOL Smiley

Sa ngayun yung dati kong employer (based in Boracay selling drinks in swirled ice form) ay ipinakikilala yung kanyang mga drinks as natural.  My goodness!!!

magic sugar is neotegen, which contains sodium cyclamate a known carcinogenic substance.

its what the DOH says it is in the news.
