Hello jenbc,
So sorry to hear about your dad.
As to the beevenom therapy, yes it is effective, but it will vary from person to person. I have known a lot of people that were considered as breathing corpse due to severe joint pains or paralysis, but because of bee venom, they started to live a normal life. Their life was already in a "no choice" situation so they tried beevenom as their last option, and they are glad that they did. One of them even became one of the experts in bee artificial insemination after he got well (after a couple of years and thousands of sting later).
The treatment is not an overnight success, you need to be patient and the patient as well as the family members also needs to accept that beeveom is your only cheapest and healthiest option.
Can we know as to where your exact location? We want to help you in any way that we can, there might be a beekeeper near your place that can help you.
